| Wellwood Cottage itself is a traditional single storey style cottage and dates from 1730. It has recently undergone a sympathetic renovation in 2007 and offers comfortable and attractive accommodation to groups or families of up to 6. The cottage accommodation includes two bedrooms, bathroom with shower over bath, lounge/diner, kitchen and utility room. |
| The master bedroom at Wellwood Cottage is equipped with double bed whilst the 2nd large bedroom has twin beds. Towels and bedding are supplied and a cot is available on request. The open plan lounge is light and spacious and has a dining table and retains an original fireplace along with wood burning stove to ensure you are kept comfortably cosy no matter what time of year you visit Wellwood. A sofa bed is also located in the lounge for extra sleeping arrangements. |
| The modern spacious kitchen is also open plan and is equipped with electric hob and oven along with fridge and microwave. In addition to this, the utility room has a freezer, washing machine and a stable door leads out into a large paved patio area. The cottage is also equipped with double glazing, oil fired central heating, flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player for your entertainment. Pets can be accommodated by arrangement. |

The district of Ayrshire itself has many local attractions in addition to miles of sunny golden beaches. It is also a golfer's paradise and has two championship golf courses as well as many challenging local courses.
