In a stunning location, just four miles to the south of the Highland capital Inverness, is Torguish House self-catering cottages and bed and breakfast accommodation.
The tranquil setting of the house coupled with its placement close to all the regions attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the local area, the Highlands, Loch Ness, and the coastline of East, North, and West Scotland. The Cairngorms and Islands are within an easy travelling distance, and the Isles of Skye and the Orkneys are great for day trips.
There are four self-catering cottages to choose from at Torguish, all clustered around a central courtyard, and are stone built.
They have plenty of character too, and are very well furnished and well appointed with all the essentials you will need for your stay.
All your linen and electricity is included in the price, and laundry facilities are available. The cottages range in size, and can accommodate from two to four guests.
Each one has a great galley style kitchen which is perfect for holiday cooking, and a bathroom with a bath, and a shower over it. The cottages are ideal for families, groups, and those wishing to spend more time getting to know the Highlands and Islands.
Torguish House has eight beautifully appointed and imaginatively styled guest rooms all with en-suite facilities. The house stands in lovely secluded grounds with peacocks and pleasant views.
Dating back to before the Jacobite uprisings of 1715, the house has bags of traditional Scottish character, and each of the rooms is named after a Highland Clan.
All the rooms have complimentary beverages, sewing kits, a colour TV, hairdryer and ironing facilities are available on request. Pets are not permitted in the house or cottages, and all the accommodation is non-smoking throughout. There is safe secure parking for cars and motorbikes.
