Kinloch Rannoch village is two and a half miles away and offers a selection of places to eat, a grocer/general store, Post office, hairdressers and two hotels.
Here you can also hire mountain bikes, fishing tackle/lines and boat hire is also available. For those who want to venture a little further afield, the small town of Aberfeldy is just fifteen miles way. You will find a warm welcome along with shopping facilities and a selection of places to eat. You can also delve into the intriguing history of this interesting town at Castle Menzies and Loch Tay's unique Scottish Crannog Centre or enjoy the taste of malt whisky at its local distillery.
A little further afield is Pitlochry (approximately twenty two miles) which is set in the very heart of Scotland and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Not only is its scenery spectacular but so is its hospitality and fine food, making it very popular with tourists. Another wonderful sight is Rannoch Moor (twenty miles away) which is crossed by one single road and a railway track.
Rannoch Moor is a magical plateau at a height of one thousand feet and its glorious views of the heather, lochs and mountains as a backdrop are a magical sight.
