Strae Cabin:
Set in a secluded woodland glade over looking a babbling burn and no more than 100 yards from the shore of beautiful Loch Awe sits the charming highland hideaway that is Strae cabin. This attractive cabin is well away from the quiet loch side road, is a comfortable distance from other cabins & is not overlooked. It offers the perfect opportunity to be at one with nature in a truly stunning setting.
Accommodation comprises:
- Open plan lounge/dining area/kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x triple bunk beds), shower room with WC and wash hand basin.
- Fitted kitchen including electric cooker (grill, oven & 4 rings), fridge (freezer compartment), toaster, kettle & microwave.
- Patio doors opening from lounge onto elevated verandah, overlooking burn.
- Large plot of land between cabin and burn including camp fire/BBQ area.
- Comfortable accommodation and stunning scenery make this a great place for a relaxing break with perhaps a little fishing or walking!
- Sleeps up to 5.
Features/Facilities:
- Charming, character filled cabin, constructed to high standard by Forestry Commission.
- Television with some satellite channels, as well as video & DVD players.
- Parking for 2 cars.
- Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at an extra cost of £20 each per stay.
- Picnic table/benches and garden furniture on verandah.
- This is a no-smoking cabin.
- Electric (storage & convection) heaters throughout.
- The village of Dalavich while remote and quiet, has a shop/cafe and community centre which has a bar, restaurant and laundry room. There is also boat and cycle hire available in the village.

Sloy Cabin:
Set in an elevated position overlooking beautiful Loch Awe sits the charming retreat that is Sloy Cabin. This charming cabin is well away from the quiet loch side road, is a comfortable distance away from other cabins and is not overlooked. It offers the perfect opportunity to be at one with nature in a truly stunning setting.
Accommodation comprises:
- Open plan lounge/dining area/kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x triple bunk beds) and shower room with WC and wash hand basin.
- Fitted kitchen including electric cooker (grill, oven and 4 rings), fridge (freezer compartment), toaster, kettle and microwave.
- Patio doors opening from lounge onto lawn, overlooking loch.
- Large plot of land that extends to loch shore, that has a pebble beach and shallow water at margins.
- Comfortable accommodation and stunning scenery make this a great place for a relaxing break with perhaps a little fishing or walking!
- Sleeps up to 5.

Loch View Cabins Accommodation:
Our Loch View Cabins, Golden Eagle, Osprey, Red Squirrel and Pine Marten, provide self catering accommodation for six to eight people. Cabins are newly constructed to a very high standard with a wealth of character and charm to provide a true log cabin experience. Cabins are situated in an elevated position with stunning views over open meadows, beautiful Loch Awe and the hills beyond.
Accommodation comprises:
- The lounge/dining area, which has a high vaulted ceiling, has satellite TV, DVD, HiFi (via TV and DVD), sofa bed, easy chairs, dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. Loch elevation is mainly glazed, to maximise the stunning view, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area.
- The kitchen area is well equipped, with cooker, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery.
- Shower rooms are tastefully finished and have electric showers, wash basin, toilet and shaver point.
- Bedroom 1 is a first floor mezzanine room with views over the loch. It has a double bed, which can be split into two twins, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed side table. Two of our cabins also offer en-suite shower room to this bedroom, with electric shower, hand basin, toilet and shaver point.
- Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe/clothes storage and bedside cabinet.
- Bedroom 3 has two bunk beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
- Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture including picnic table a BBQ and grassed area. The cabins provide privacy and are bordered by a large open meadow on which children can play safely, while watched over from the living area.
- The cabins are timber lined throughout, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. They provide a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm and feel of a true log cabin in a quiet forest location.
- All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices.
- These are non smoking cabins.
