| Heather Bleat Cottage is nestled in the middle of a family run working farm, it has been tastefully renovated to a high standard, the accommodation consists of 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a king size bed with an en suite and the other room with a double and single bed, there is a modern fitted kitchen with all new appliances including dishwasher, microwave and washer dryer. |
| The luxury family bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle also mood lighting for that all important 'me' time – all towels and linens are provided. In the living area you can relax with comfortable seating for five also with low level, mid-level and high level lighting giving the option of choosing the mood. The cottage has been fitted with freesat TV downstairs and Freeview TV in both bedrooms including a DVD player in the family room, so don't forget your favourite DVD's. |
| Outside there is a large fenced secure garden making it suitable or children of all ages we also have a patio and outdoor eating area to the side of the property, with outdoor drying facility along with ample parking space, there are also smoking areas beside the cottage. For added security the cottage is fitted with smoke detectors, a fire blanket, a fire extinguisher and has three external doors downstairs and an external staircase fire escape from the main bedroom, |
| The cottage is located in Laurieston and is ideally located for all the surrounding villages Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and New Galloway also for visiting gardens, bird watching, walking, cycling, fishing, pony trekking, golf – there are approximately 6 golf courses in the close reach of the cottage, water sports and many more local activities, if you feel a bit more energetic why not bring your bike and visit one of the many cycle runs through breathtaking scenery and forests, or why not just bring your pet along on holiday and enjoy long uninterrupted walks, Laurieston itself has picnic areas and many walks into the forestry to see nature at its best. Or why not arrange to take a walk to visit our own private Sand Martin colony. |

| Dumfries and Galloway is on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland and has so much to offer, we have beautiful beaches, wonderful castles, Kirkcudbright Tattoo, the spring fling for art lovers, why not take in the famous Wickerman Festival, or go to the Country and Western Festival at Creetown not to be missed, the area is steeped in history and it is around every corner ready to be explored. |
| We are within easy reach of Edinburgh and Glasgow and the local train station is Dumfries a 25 minute car journey away, and Castle Douglas is a stopping point for most major coach companies. |
