Hazelrigg's elevated situation allows you to enjoy picturesque views of the hills and moors that are so typical of the Galloway area, a location that is perfect for those who enjoy active holidays. You'll find the Galloway Forest Park close by as well as cycling trails, and watersports at the Galloway Activity Centre on Loch Ken. Those who prefer the more sedate sports of fishing and golf will also find that the area has many options available. |
| Hazelrigg House can sleep 7 adults in two double rooms, a twin bedded room and a single room with futon and cot/bed. All bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. There are two bathrooms and a WC upstairs. If an extra bedroom is required then there is a sofa bed in the playroom downstairs. The ground floor at Hazelrigg has a large sitting room with log burner, a TV and well stocked bookshelves. The playroom also has a TV and a DVD, plus a good selection of children's games and toys. For the musically-minded, there is an upright piano and a guitar for your use. Start every new day with breakfast in the well appointed dining room. The good sized kitchen is equipped with twin oven cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a pantry, utility room with washing machine (indoor and outdoor drying) and downstairs WC. Hazelrigg has gas central heating and an immersion heater. There is mobile phone reception for those who like to keep in touch. Smoking is permitted outside only, and pets are welcome by arrangement. |
