| Entering this light filled apartment there is a fully equipped kitchen with large dining table, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Patio doors open onto a balcony with outdoor table and chairs perfect to catch the evening sun looking onto the lovely old buildings of the original railway station and the Eildon hills beyond. |
| This first floor continues with a large twin bedroom, double bedroom, bathroom with separate bath and shower, a spacious sitting room which looks onto the square and has a large sofa for cosy winter nights, digital TV, DVD and CD. The sofa can be made into a bed for an additional two guests. |
| Upstairs there is a twin room with an ensuite shower room which has great views over the traditional houses of Melrose to the hills of Gattonside beyond where the monks used to grow vines on the sunny hillside in centuries gone by. |
