| The Forglen estate is a large country estate with 3 self catering cottages, where you can relax and unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. It is a 3 mile journey to the nearby town of Turriff where you can find supermarkets for supplies or perhaps have a meal in one of the lovely bar restaurants. |
| Forglen offers three very different accommodations within the estate. All are comfortable and well equipped to ensure your stay is a relaxing one. |
| Ivy cottage is a pretty two storey double fronted house with a large, private lawned garden. It has just been fully redecorated and has new carpets throughout. Ivy cottage sleeps up to six guests in one double and two twin rooms. It has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a shower over the bath. |
| Smiddy cottage is the former blacksmiths cottage which has been extended to provide accommodation over two storey's for up to 8 guests, in one double and three twin bedrooms. It is set in its own large private grounds, with a pretty stream running through. Accommodation includes a pretty living/dining room with a real log fire as the focal point of the room. Large country kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. Downstairs there is a separate shower and toilet area and upstairs there is a family bathroom. |
| Forglen Lodge has recently been renovated and upgraded to be the finest holiday cottage on the estate. This stunning two storey lodge, complete with its own tower and turrets, would once have been the home of the estate gatekeeper. Located at the entrance to the estate, Forglen lodge sleeps six guests in two double bedrooms and one twin room. Accommodation includes large sitting room with open fire, large, fully equipped country kitchen with dining area and bathroom on the ground floor, charming tartan hallway which leads upstairs to a twin room, double room and separate toilet on the first floor. |
