| Carsebuie is a haven of peace and tranquillity, 3 miles from the village of Kirkcowan, near the market town of Newton Stewart. The cottage is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with fabulous views of the hills and close to some of Galloway's finest beaches. Carsebuie stands in 1.5 acres of private grounds which includes an enclosed garden and woodland. This cottage sleeps up to 10 people and is the perfect base from which to explore the Galloway Hills and the Galloway Forest Park. Accommodation at Carsebuie comprises of 2 upstairs bedrooms 1 twin, 1 twin/double and 2 ground floor bedrooms, 1 with 2 singles, 1 double. The living room is spacious and comfortable and overlooks the courtyard and garden. Wood burning stove, TV/DVD, radio and CD player, and double sofa bed are included for your comfort and entertainment. The dining kitchen has space to seat all guests and is well equipped. Outside is a dining terrace with patio furniture and barbeque. Children are welcome and will enjoy playing in the games barn at Carsebuie which includes gym and table tennis. Pets are welcome by arrangement and there is also a 20% under occupancy discount for couples. |
| Pavilion Cottage is nestled within the walled garden of the 18th century Galloway House Estate, Garlieston, 5 minutes walk from a private sandy beach. This cosy cottage sleeps up to 8 persons in 2 ground floor bedrooms, 1 single/twin/double and 1 double. The 2 other bedrooms are accessed by an open staircase leading to a galleried landing which gives access to 2 cosy loft rooms with up to 3 single beds, popular with children. The glazed living area, known as the garden room is equipped with TV/DVD and double sofa bed for extra sleeping arrangements. Leading into the dining area with high beamed ceiling, extending dining table for up to 10, stereo CD/radio and wood burning stove, both areas combine to make a delightful space for entertaining. The kitchen is well equipped and is fitted with Rayburn stove, combination microwave/convection oven/grill, fridge-freezer, electric kettle and coffee maker and two ring electric hob. The walled garden offers a large lawned area and also has the added luxury of an open-air heated* swimming pool for your enjoyment. Pets are welcome by arrangement. |
