All cottages have the modern conveniences of home with private bath/shower service in each. The comfortable sitting rooms offer television, DVD, radio and CD player for your entertainment.
Unlike many self catering retreats, The Old Steading cottages offer you the choice of short, weekend or longer stays, based on availability. All rooms are non smoking. The village of Alves is just a short distance away and has a welcoming pub that is the perfect setting to relax and unwind. Forres is located seven miles west and offers local shops to explore and award winning floral displays to enjoy. The Cathedral city of Elgin is four miles to the east.
The Old Steading provides the ideal base from which to discover and explore the Grampian area, Greater Speyside and the Highlands of Scotland with all their scenic romance and history hidden in each and every village and glen. Wherever you decide to explore, there is plenty to do for all, from golfing to dolphin watching or fishing to hill and coastal walking! Non drivers will enjoy the world famous Whisky Trail, with drams to be experienced in many of the distilleries.
